Martí stands out in the FIA F3 post-season test at Jerez.

The Spanish driver was in the top 5 in most of the sessions held in the official Formula 3 post-season test.

Martí concludes a very positive test in which he led the second day and comes out of Jerez with a plus of experience and learning.

"It has been a very good test. We have been competitive enough from the first moment. We managed to be in the top 5 in most situations and I felt quite comfortable with the car from the first outing on track. We have been making changes to the car which have been positive and have given us speed and good pace over the three days. I must say it has been really productive".

Pepe Martí has finished his first FIA Formula 3 campaign with two good news: his great competitiveness in post-season testing and his recent signing with Fernando Alonso's management agency, A14 Management. After a complicated season of highs and lows, a lot of learning and with a clear objective of gaining experience, the young driver of only 17 years old continues his path with the desire to continue growing in the world of single seaters.

The Circuito de Jerez - Ángel Nieto has hosted this time the official tests that close the Formula 3 season, where Pepe has managed to be one of the fastest in a field of 30 drivers.

"It has been a very good test. We have been competitive enough from the first moment. We managed to be in the top 5 in most situations and I felt quite comfortable with the car from the first outing on track. We have been making changes to the car which have been positive and have given us speed and good pace over the three days. I must say it has been really productive", said the young driver.

Martí and Campos Racing, the team with which he has raced all season long, have finished a year of hard work, doing a great job in the tests that put an end to the F3 2022 season. It has been three days in which they have managed to be competitive at all times, placing third on the first day and even leading the standings on the second day.

"The first day we finished third in the morning, with a big margin for me. The second day we finished second, I think we could have improved a bit but we were pretty much on the limit. In the afternoon we put on new tyres and took over the top spot on the grid. I can't complain. Today, the last day, we struggled a little bit with the tyres and there was room for improvement but hopefully all the bad days we have next year will be finishing fifth. We are working on a good line to go forward and we will continue like this", concluded Martí.

In the overall classification of the test, Pepe Martí is in fourth place with a lap time of 1'29.927 and having completed a total of 194 laps, which will give him guarantees for the future.
