The Spanish CUPRA KIRO driver joins Jake Dennis on one of the United States’ most prominent television programmes to showcase the new era of Formula E.

The all-electric single-seater championship is strengthening its commitment to the US market, with two races scheduled for 2027 in Austin and Miami, alongside its arrival on Disney+.

Pepe Martí was in the spotlight this Tuesday on the historic US television programme Good Morning America, as one of the faces representing Formula E’s expansion into the United States. The championship will stage two races in the country next season, in Austin and Miami, while also entering a new era through its partnership with Disney+.

The Spanish CUPRA KIRO driver appeared live on ABC’s morning show alongside British driver Jake Dennis, who races for US-based team Andretti and currently leads the championship. The appearance was aimed at bringing Formula E closer to a mainstream American audience, as well as showcasing its new partnership with Disney, which is expected to significantly increase the championship’s reach across the country.

Formula E will be broadcast on Disney+ from the 2026–27 season onwards, when the championship expands its US presence with two E-Prix: Austin on 6 February and Miami on 20 February.

Pepe helped introduce American viewers to the qualities of Formula E on a programme that attracts an average audience of 2.7 million viewers.

His appearance on one of the United States’ leading television programmes further highlights his performances on track, which have been marked by an impressive debut season, including podium finishes in Monaco and Sanya, China.

On Tuesday, Pepe also made an impact away from the circuits with his appearance on ABC, having been selected by Formula E for the initiative and chosen to represent the championship at an important stage in its international growth.

With the current season drawing to a close in London this weekend with a double-header, Pepe will look to round off his adaptation campaign with another strong result.

The introduction of GEN4 – faster and more powerful single-seaters capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.8 seconds – comes alongside an expanded calendar and a renewed focus on strategic markets such as the United States.
